A wild cotton tail, most likely a male has been hanging around my two big girls cages and generally being in a wild bunny no go zone. Which is my entire yard. Dogs seem to be ignoring it.

So I set a trap last night between the cages in the hopes that he will try to get a closer look inside (one of them has a single open facing on one side).

Trap didn't go off, but a dead cotton tail appeared on the other side of the property on the road in the morning. Mysterious.

ANYWAY, dogs got a meal instead of myself.

Yeah, I wont lie and say I've been successful with the metal traps for rabbits. But I was being lazy and hoping it wouldnt notice as it walks between the rabbit cages trying to rape my girls.

That being said, the metal traps I have are fantastic for certain birds.
