30-06 bolt gun. Still a flat shooting round.

This is what I use. Winchester. Killed lots of moose and deer with this bad boy. Otherwise 20guage for birds and cats.

I have a Ar15 in .450 Bushmaster I have yet to fill a tag with.

Honestly if I do any hunting at all it will be small game with my stevens break barrel 12ga.

Im hunting mountain lions. A savage lightweight hunter .243 with a 1-6×24 scope is the ticket. Perfect lion caliber imo. Does a bit more damage to yotes than id like, but if i shoot a yote with it, its just an incidental target of opportunity. If im out targeting yotes ill use a .223.
