The article has the author listed - Emily Lefroy. The article names the source - @boogeyman0302 The article claims the man was talking with his brother — who works in law enforcement - to add credibility.

Yes, Ardvarcus clued me in later, then I found the story line on Snopes. I should have know better because it's NYPost. Apparently a NYPost Halloween prank. Pretty sick of them to joke about this subject.
