Wanted a robot mower for years but the ones where you've got to put wires into your lawn never appealed to me. I knew there'd be a superior solution one day.
There's some neat DIY projects out there, but these days I just want to buy a tool that does its job and does it well. About the only thing a DIY robot does better is giving you the troubleshooting knowledge you inevitably gain along the way. It's certainly way more expensive if you value your time.
