I am pretty sure it is going to be delicious. Usually we make it with licorice root, but we are growing anise this year.

It's a type of mint with a vaguely chocolate flavor. The leaves are smaller and darker than spearmint and you can sometimes find it at the big box stores. There are other varieties of mint to try too for a change.
