Geese make families. I was not super surprised to see that the male goose is a great dad. The goslings stay near both parents, and both goose and gander are extremely protective of the goslings.
At least one of these baby birds is going to be spit roasted over an open fire. We did that last year amd HOLY SHIT it was the best thing I have ever eaten. Smoked goose.
