Nice! I need to get out and harvest mine. We planted a few varieties this year so I'm hoping for some fun new dishes. Have you made garlic scape salt? I'd recommend that if you're growing your own supply.

Nope. Sounds good though.
Cut the scapes off the garlic when they curl into a loop. Dry them out and throw them first in a food processor, then powderize them in mortar and pestle with salt. Fantastic topping to a lot of things.

We have some scapes in the dehydrator right now. Looking forward to trying some.
You can make an extremely good pesto with the scapes as well as a sub for anywhere you would use guacamole. It's a great topping for eggs, mash potatoes, steak, etc.
