When I finally find a new property and move, I would like to hire you and your people to trench in some fiber for me. That would be awesome. Not sure I can afford you though.

Call the local Telecom, find out who they sub their work to or if you see the subs around town ask them if they want some side work. Don't ask the employees of the telecom, they are lazy, you'll want the sub or the sub of the sub.
