Walter Carlos, aka Wendy Carlos, is an early electronic music personality that as you can probably guess, decided it was a woman. One of Carlos' most famous albums, after the Switched On Bach album, was the soundtrack to Disney's TRON.
OP pointed out that the album had the name Walter instead of Wendy, to which I replied in 1968 that shit probably didn't fly.

I give it credit, it did some amazing work with synthesis when a synthesizer was a box of transistors that you programmed by connecting plugs in a board, but it's still an abomination.
