Who is Walter Carlos? I have no idea what is going on
Walter Carlos, aka Wendy Carlos, is an early electronic music personality that as you can probably guess, decided it was a woman. One of Carlos' most famous albums, after the Switched On Bach album, was the soundtrack to Disney's TRON.
OP pointed out that the album had the name Walter instead of Wendy, to which I replied in 1968 that shit probably didn't fly.
Oh. Fucking weird.
I'm not sure he transitioned until some years after SoB was released. I think he was still Walter when he did the score to A Clockwork Orange ca. 1971.
