Ojibwe lived down by Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, and moved North after Europeans started pouring into the area. Now they live around Georgian Bay and West through Canada and the USA with large numbers in Minnesota and Northern Ontario. They have separate peace deals with Canada and the USA.
The Chippewa are a subset of the Ojibwe, as there are other smaller tribes there as well.
Meanwhile, several American Indian tribes who fought with the British against the USA, and lost during the war of 1812, now reside in Indian Reserves in Southern Ontario, where the Ojibwe used to live. These are the Six Nations, including the Mohawks.
Interesting enough is watching the universities trying to rebrand Indian identity and rewrite their history, teaching them the same needy victim dependency mentality they teach to American blacks. Do the natives not realize their Indian media is broadcasting an outside agenda? My guess is they do not.
