Interesting thing about that was it was the first exhibition where Tesla's lighting system was widely displayed so just seeing all the buildings lit up at night with electric lighting was a huge new experience. And there was a man who went there and came back to California telling his son all about the City of lights and how amazing it was and the Sonny told it to was Walt Disney which probably served to inspire Walt Disney to create Disneyland and more importantly his idea of future cities which really never got the recognition that the entertainment complex Disneyland got. But Walt Disney actually had a lot more ideas about future cities which of course never really work out because the things that drive people to buy a home are almost never related to an organized modern building looking structured city.
