When I see pictures like this, I imagine the hardships they endured to reach their destination.

Fighting off wildlife and foraging and hunting for food. Going days without food. The fateful days of losing family members to sickness. The scorching hot days spent making sure they had bare necessities. The hard roads travelled. Repairing a yoke or busted wheel on the wagon.

So many possibilities and trials they must have overcame.
