When I was in high school (13-15 years old) I used to take my shotgun on the school bus when we had clay target shooting as a school sports elective. This wasn't unusual, it was just normal. I'd take it, in an unlocked case, obviously unloaded and usually disassembled, then when I got to school I'd drop it off in the staff admin building for storage. There were quite a few kids who went shooting, it was in the country, none of the guns got up and shot anyone.

I remember pickup trucks with gun racks in the rear window. Weapons in the rack in the parking lot wasn't uncommon. Wasn't even rural.

The demographics changed and so did the policies.

Imagine if the anti-gun violence crowd encouraged the teaching of students about the proper way to handle a firearm/weapon we wouldn't have so many negligent discharg.. oh wait that's for fatherless niggers. HA!

imo having a gun in a boxxed in room like a classroom is just a bad idea, this shit should be in P.E. class
