Always remember, John F. Kennedy through a mixture of hubris, arrogance and incompetence, brought the world to the very brink of nuclear war. It was avoided only when Kennedy made a secret agreement with the Russians that basically gave them everything they wanted. The only condition was that it not be revealed to the American people how Kennedy sold them out.
