What does bother me right now though is that we're in a perfect storm. Small to large transformers and high voltage fuses could be a massive issue with supply chain hiccups. Combine a CME with a hurricane or two and life could suck for awhile.

Any idea how they know the actual time it took for something to travel from the Sun to earth on a specific day in the 1800’s? Did they take their time traveler radar guns out?
