Mongols never stayed in India and ruled over it directly under Genghis Khan or his sons. His descendents did rule after the Mongol Yuan dynasty had already passed into history. Mongols were great rulers. Got the idea to look into this since someone else brought it to my attention that the great Mongols had a history with India.
