Would anyone else consider this japanese stoicism? I've read the Book of Five Rings and there are similar concepts.
Would anyone else consider this japanese stoicism? I've read the Book of Five Rings and there are similar concepts.
Both written by the same chap, TL;DR you take this stoicism and combine it with "one must train dilligently" and then you have your monk path ahead of you to figure out what that means. Or you can just live in society, neither is more "noble" than the other, but for some, it is their only path.
