I can't imagine a society where a significant amount of people could avoid working. Even in a primitive, African, jungle nigger tribe they'd have to get up and get food one way or another. They're also living at the very lowest level of development. I think the amount of work should be 25-35 hours for the man only. The woman could take care of kids and housework. I once brought up the concept that people are living beyond their means, and that just pissed people off so much. Well, actually, I brought it up by saying people are spending too much money and living at a higher level of luxury than they should be at. This sort of puts us all in a trap, where we have to keep up with the Joneses as they say. It also doesn't help that if you wanted to pay less in rent, you'll end up living around a bunch of vibrant diversity units.
