The Polish - Lithuanian Commonwealth was a major force in Europe from 1395 until 1791. Their most famous leader was John Sobieski who commanded the armies fighting the Muslims and who saved Europe by defeating the Turks at The Battle of Vienna in 1683. I wish they could do it again.
Yeah, well, Poles would disagree. I'm taking their side on this one.
Poland got invaded and partitioned among Austria, Prussia, and Russia. It wasn't until 1918 that Poland regained independence after 123 years of nonexistence. The country got restored in accordance with its pre-participation borders.
The Kingdom of Poland started in 966. Not sure what the fuck you're talking about.
Here is a historical visualization of the borders of Europe for over 500 years you absolute moron: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWWLECJnylM
As others have already stated, you are an idiot. Thanks.
You are probably referring to the Germanic Empire, like the Britannia Empire, it was before history books.
Yeah of course poland existed. Poland had a long history as a separate nation for most of the last 1000 years which is more of a history than germany had as a unified state. Its just not true. Maybe you don’t agree with the chunk of prussia that ended up in polish territory but the idea that Poland was a manufactured state in recent times is preposterous. This video starts in 1790. What are the borders a few decades earlier?1700? 1600? 1100? What are German borders? Or Russian borders? Maybe Greece and Italy aren’t real countries. Maybe Norway isn’t a real country
Where did the polish language come from then?
He only went over there after being refused help when his peeps kept getting genocided and he got fed up and decided to take action, but you know, schools never tell you this. Yes, we absolutely made the wrong choice in the war. Don't even have to mention who it was that needed ro be stopped do we?
