He was probably alarmed by the rampant homosexuality in the military during WWII. The US needed men immediately and (((SURPRISE SURPRISE))) The draft was started im 1940 - 15 months before the bombing of Pearl Harbor (google.com) so there were probably quite a few faggots that lied about their sexual preference so they could fight for their country.

Not really sure what the correlation is between Patton realizing he may have made a mistake fighting for the wrong side and guys batting for the wrong team.

Back in the 40s & 50s, men dressing up in women's clothes was the "meme" of the time - I should've been more specific with the last post but maybe that's what Patton was referring to, the degeneration of culture started when men began wearing women's clothing as a joke.
