They should've been. No public had more access to information than they did. The Magna Carta expressly mentions jews and restricts some of their common swindles. The Canterbury Tales has a story about ritual murder, and you have the famous case of Hugh of Lincoln to go back to. Shakespeare wrote an entire play about their bloodthirstyness and cry-bully tactics. And your first openly jewish prime minister, Benjamin Disraeli, even wrote a book bragging about their influence behind the scenes. It's not like this wasn't known. So why was nothing done?
Because the royals were complicit. When the Rothschilds took over, they owned your entire banking system lock stock and barrel. After 1814 your entire empire belonged to them, and it showed in how they used it. The royals didn't take their country back, but just accepted their new paymaster and started marrying their daughters.
WW1 was kicked off when the Rhodes Round Table decided that England couldn't compete with Germany so they would engineer an alliance against it between France, Russia, and anyone else they could sway. This was in 1891. They tried to start it with many incidents (esp. Morocco 1913), but only succeeded when a pan-slavic secret society backed by Russia and England assassinated the Austrian royal who was most sympathetic to slavic politics (German Austrians thought he was a sellout). Then Russia and France mobilized before Germany and Austria, which is only done when you're going to go to war. It was a pre-planned attack.
A nearly identical situation happened in 1939, just sub Poland for tsarist Russia. 10% of all Poles were Jewish in the 1940s, now Poland is home to the world's largest Jewish community yet again. Poles are genetically Slavic Jews, which really is unforgivable.
