Idk man, quantum physics seems to indicate that reality isn't set until it's observed and when it is it changes the reality of things miles away that are seemingly unrelated. If true it would indicate that it is a choose your reality to a point, considering observation is a matter of perspective.

What people do now is not observation. They observe, then reject what they see and LARP as though their idealized version is true. Mass mental illness. The masses can no longer cope with facing reality and do their best to protect their delusions with echo chambers and safe spaces.

I don't disagree with you about any of that. Yet it's like my football coach used to say. You control what you can control which is you and don't worry about what you cannot.
