Why this worship for the Kennedys? They were arrogant assholes. The family fortune was built on rum running and smuggling. They used any dirty tactic to get what they wanted, including fixing a presidential election. JFK almost started World War III. Bobby Kennedy was put into the position of Attorney General by his brother's nepotism. Drunk Teddy Kennedy left his secretary to drown and die in a river while he ran away and hit until the booze wore off. The entire clan of Kennedys was arrogant, corrupt and evil. I don't see the hero worship, and I never have seen it. It makes no sense to me. Maybe little people just like to worship power. The Kennedys exuded an aura of power. But the power was never used to benefit the little people.
