This is an interview made in 1976 about Hanna Reitsch who was born on March 29, 1912, and died on August 24, 1979.

She was a German aviator and the only woman awarded the Iron Cross First Class And the Luftwaffe Pilot / Observer Badge in Gold, with Diamonds during World War II. She set over forty (40) aviation altitude and endurance records during her career, both before and after World War II. She had also made a number of international glider-plane records that still stand to this day.

Hanna Reitsch was one of the closest friends of Adolf Hitler during World War 2.

A friend of mine. Ex Viet Nam Marine Recon was a Merc in Rhodesia. He told me about the natives setting the sights on their AK's to infinity thinking it made the rifle shoot harder 20 years before it was common knowledge. I didnt believe it at the time. Who's that stupid? Africans thats who! He got nabbed by the FBI flying back into NYC with a money belt full of Krugerrands. The feds kept his gold.

That's pretty crazy if true. I remember the greentext telling the same story, fucking hilarious. Not hilarious is gold being confiscated, that's beyond the line.

I'd ask him about hunting blacks in the veldt. He'd just smile and shake his head. He wouldnt talk about it. Shit. These days the CIA would pay him well into 6 figures.

Was it bad for him or did he just not talk about it? I imagine he must've enjoyed doing what he was doing. Damn, if his timing was just a bit later he would've been cleaning up these days, holy shit.
