Germany helped Spain beat the communists, France was facing a communist takeover (through politics or weapons), Germany was in talks with Poland on a defence treaty against the USSR, but one of Poland's key leaders died and their replacement soured relations with Germany (Purposely?). Hell, even the British communists had to shut the fuck up and unite with their democratic faggot friends because the Germans were ripping the dogshit out of the RAF and everyone below.
