As @Tewdrig and @NoisySilence have mentioned, this is likely not correct. Atilla is actually vilified in all history books, you know what he did though? He stopped the Muslim invasion into Europe and used their own tactics of intimidation back against them. So if the school books who are written as propaganda vilify him, what do you think the real truth likely is?
