I think Christmas was picked to replace saturnalia because the early Christians were romans who believed YHWH to be Saturn and well saturnalia was Saturn's holiday in roman tradition.

Easter is calculated on a lunar calendar because that's the calendar the israelites used(including to keep track of passover, which is the real determinate of easter). Our reg calendar is calculated using the position of the sun.

Yeah I'm sure plenty of Christians ask sign questions and have birthstones and what not. I don't see this as idolotry though, because there doesn't seem to be an associated attempt to link to another god. More just curiosity about the future. This is probably a violation of the laws of moses, but Jesus said Christians only had to follow 7 commandments.

Yeah pretty odd to not have the sabboth on saturn's day. Not sure why the catholics did that.

The new covenant is the law written on your heart by the indwelling (he that is in you) Holy Spirit. (not just 7 laws) Examine the scriptures. Hebrews 10:16-30, Hebrews 8:10-11, Jeremiah 31:31-34, Ezekiel 11:19-21. Ezekiel 36:25-27, Jeremiah 32:38-39. Isaiah 51:7

Gentiles are indeed in the new covenant as Paul states in Romans 2: 13-15

Because WE DO NATURALLY the things contained in the law, because we are now reborn after baptism by the spirit of God – dead to sin in our flesh, alive to righteousness by the spirit. Romans 6 Mortal bodies are quickened at baptism (romans 8) The only way to recognize those that Know Christ from liars and fake christians is that they do the commandments.

1 John 2: 4 He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (What is supposed to be in a christian? the holy spirit?

5 But whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. (Perfected)

Xmas is idolatry, Easter is idolatry, Birthdays are idolatry (worshiping self), birthstones is idolatry, well you get the point.
