believe or not there is still true blasksmiths out there that will hand forge just anout anything. now they may use a power hammer but yeah. I think alot of hatchets and axe are poured then ground. Or they fire that shit red smoking hot and pressing it in a 100ton (or whatever) press to form the ... with is forged then ground and heat treated. there is videos on youtube and crap to see it... sometimes material is coming off a spool goes through an induction to heat then BAM the floor shakes
