I was an atheist for about 10 years. Like, hardcore super liberal militant atheist scientism nerd. I thought I had it all figured out. I believed modern science to be the epitome of truth, and I revered popular scientists as idols and swallowed every word of propaganda they ever spoke or wrote, and defended it with dogmatic furvor (and at the same time mocking Christians in chat rooms for believing things on 'faith' not realizing that I was doing the exact same thing only to a more illogical degree). I believed our knowledge of ourselves and of our cosmos to be nearly complete with only a few tidbits of cosmological neurological discoveries left to fill in or gaps of ignorance.

Boy how wrong I was. There existed entire realms of study and disciplines I had never heard of or ever given any thought to In all my years of tireless research of and pursuit of 'truth'. It all started with some controversial essays I read on HubPages.com from a guy named FatFist, and his logic seemed impeccable. I spent months trying to find flaws in his arguments but failed. Finally, it all started casting doubt onto my own beliefs, and for the sake of brevity I'll get to the point and spare you all the story of my very painful transitions from believer, to staunch atheist, to an agnostic, back to a believer, and finally to where I'm at now, to a deist and having my worldview shattered more times than I care to recall. And it all stemmed from reading FatFists essays on HubPages (I highly suggest you check them out, that way you too can have your mind blown and carry some cognitive dissonance around with you for a while before having a total psychological meltdown!! It'll be awesome!) Anyways, that cast doubt onto my existing beliefs systems and I started to wonder what all else I had been lied to about. That's when I started to research ancient history and lost civilizations, ancient legends and myths, sacred geometry and strange phenomena such as crop circles and UFOs and Magik and you name it I've given it at least a once over. But it was really sacred geometry and cymatics and learning about all of the ancient advanced megaliths around the world that rekindled my belief in a creator once again. And right now I'm deist, but that could change tomorrow. I try not to get too emotionally attached to ideas and always remind myself that my knowledge will always be incomplete and that there are infinitely more things I do not know than there are things that I know. But yeah, I went off on a tangent. Check out UnchartedX, you faggots will be glad you did. There's also EnigmasoftheAncientWorld, they both make quality documentaries about lost advanced technology in ancient history and advanced megalithic architecture. As for HubPages and FatFist, good luck with that.
