Just think, there are still people out there that think a ship and a lighthouse fought one another to move. Trying to teach them about ancient Roman history would be like teaching...ancient Roman history to a rock.
the biggest lie taught to everyone is that technology can only move forwards. "things can not be forgotten" is the example that comes to mind. Yet indoor plumbing existed in ancient rome, hanging gardens of Babylon, during the reign of Vishnu in ancient India, and possibly ancient Sumeria that predates the cataclysm that occurred aprox 12,000 years ago.
no other statement in history class has made me ask more questions that have no accepted answer.
