But I do totally recommend. I stopped for a few days and day hiked from a motel on the way down to Tennessee.

I'm planning on going back to do some backpacking.

If you're interested I can look up where I stayed.

Black Bear Lodge.

No frills motel. Clean and had a nice wood interior. Nothing to brag about, but if your just looking for a clean and cheap place to sleep and shower I recommend. I figure I'm going out there to be outdoors anyways.
