just shoot the fucking things. that's how you "deal" with them.

Viable option for sure.

what good are they anyway?

fuck keeping animals that want to eat you while you're hiking.

What good is killing them all? They keep certain things in balance, doesn't mean we can't limit their numbers.

I can only think of 1 ep of survivor man where les actually thrived. All the others hes just slowly starving to death for a week. Not saying hes a fraud or anything, but the more you ponder his show, the less (snort) impressive it becomes.

He had a week and had to shoot the whole thing himself. He was unarmed(except that episode where there were polar bears and they forced him to have a rifle) so he couldn't really hunt much. He was stuck foraging for whatever. He was also not sitting in one camp but had to make it to the pick up rendezvous. I'm willing to bet that in a real situation he'd last longer than you or I.

I agree. He would just basically aimlessly forage and try not to freeze at night. For 7 days.

Sounds like youve seen many (maybe every) eps. What did you learn you didnt know before?

Its been a long time since I saw any so Im not sure I could specify a specific thing I learned. Um, cattails are edible, I didn't know that one.

I'm not a huge fanboi defending him. But I did enjoy the show.

Well, it was survivorman, not thriverman ;-)

His show was based around staying alive until you're rescued.
