Most of those bars are low to no sugar. When hiking you need high carbohydrate dense foods that pack a lot of calories. The stuff she's showing you would be pretty standard for any thru hiker.

if you did a thru hike in california you'd be able to just swallow every male on the trail's load and tell them how you're a homosexual bodybuilder.

become a tranny

i was going to say the same thing. plus what she is talking about is not a day trail

you want high dense food... sugar for that. I mean you could do it low carb (keto) but it would just be a pita to prepare everything.

people that do that hike drop massive amounts of weight, i think the appalachian there is turn offs that go into towns etc. to restock, or it is split into sections. Sort of how Minnesota Superior hiking trail is setup, but there is nothing other than dirt roads up there, also if you search it, there is waaaaaaaaaaaaay more than google shows

that's the major appealing thing about doing the big hikes in USA is all the little towns along the way to resupply or visit a restaurant.

even a room to shower etc

I mean that rtail can take a month to do if i remember correctly
