people should be allowed to keep whatever weapons they want. if you have the cash buy a new tank for all i care. the better armed the population, the more polite people will become imo. people would know that fuckery or impolite behavior can get you killed. they'll let small stuff go and not escalate shit. small stuff wouldn't even occur knowing the other party has the weapons to end it all.
