There are also people who choose not to have fortified opinions on things that require trusting something that had been told to them. I’m am by no means a flat earther, but the Bible does say the earth is flat and I, personally, can’t empirically prove the shape of the earth so I don’t completely dismiss it. I also know that a large part of what we have been taught is BS.

But, 99% of flat earthers are retards and until one of them makes a convincing argument I will continue to believe the earth is spherical

It's fairly trivial to prove the earth isn't flat merely by geometry; travel in a triangle with 60 degree turns and you won't end up where you started. People knew this in ancient times way before christianity.

But I should have clarified that I respect the stubborn contrarian flat-earthers more than docile consensus worshippers. Even if they are wrong. It's always better to be a retarded skeptic than a gullible believer, of the two extremes.

We do observe other celestial objects display the "force" of gravity right? Looking at black holes, clouds around black holes/dense stars, or even galaxies.

The funny part is for all functional purposes, the Earth may as well be flat. There's like 20 astronauts, they're all masons by the way. They are the only people who are affected by the curvature of the earth. Everyone else lives in a roughly 30 square mile box, that area is so small compared to the surface area of the earth that earth may as well be flat, and you'd never know the difference.

I completely believe there are lies going on, we didn't go to the moon and the NASA photos/videos of "space" are weird but I don't see how the earth is flat. Hollow? Definitely but not flat.

There might be something in there. It is explained through local sun, light traveling with the sun (not infinitely). And the moon producing its own light. There are other exmplanations as well. I am not advocating either way….just for discussion.

Definitely not a flat earther, but if you tilt the disk so that it isn’t perpendicular to the rays it helps explain a lot.

Of course it still doesn’t work because there are areas in the middle of the disc that would either always be light or dark depending on the angle….
