Something we can all agree on is that the church as an institution is subverted. From the Pope down to small town churches here in the U.S. Imagine my shock when talking to someone's old folks they say that "the jewish people are God's chosen people." They aren't jews, yet they've deified jews because their church taught them to. The institution that's supposed to espouse Christianity is telling them that another "people" are actually God's chosen.
