It’s not because of “society’s standards” that women wear make-up, it’s because men respond positively to it that women wear it. Whole thing sounds like a rejected man bitter that the woman he wanted could do better. He should either try to move up those few levels to get a girl like her, or accept a woman a few levels lower than himself, that’s just how it works. Men whinging about women not wanting them is just as bad as the post-wall women whinging about the lack of good men, it’s all avoidance of your own personal situation by laying blame at the feet of an external player.
