I wouldn't go so far as to call the Ainu or the Jomon European. They are just the similar but distinct from mainland North East Asians, according to genetics anyways. There are generic similarities to Europeans in some ways, for example wider eyes and whiter skin.
However, we see other but similar genetic similarities between European peoples to other groups. For example, the genetics for "Irish Eyes" smaller almond shaped eyes common amongst the Irish is based on certain genetic information that's white similar to the genetic code that gives Asians smaller eyes.
Genetics are more than skin deep, there's a MASSIVE amount of code and information. A change in one visible attribute could cause a change in millions of other unseen variables. Furthermore, genetic variation due to population isolation used to be far more common where peoples a village apart could have genetic variations. Also, some groups like the Jomon for example are an overarching title for a group of many genetically different peoples.
Finally there's a lot of things that have an impact on genetics such as environment. A village on the coast will be genetically different than one in the mountains of the same people in the same nation.
Essentially, just because a people value similar values as Europeans doesn't make them in any way connected to Europeans even if this group acts far different than more similar genetic peoples closer by.

No, they might be “more white” but that’s like saying a nigger with 10% white DNA is “more white” than a pure nigger. It’s still a nigger (not to say East Asians are niggers because they aren’t, they are humans). The modern Japanese are mostly yayaoi anyways and koreans/japs/Chinese are distinctly in their own genetic cluster far away from the european cluster (I think like .14 fst). The Japanese are much much much closer to chinks or gooks than to Europeans and are certainly not close to being White.
I think this misconception comes from the fact that korea and japan have dabbled with Christianity in the past (in the case of the otomo clan in japan) or they are direct essentially vassal states of the USA and have become westernized so people see them as “more white.”
You're absolutely right. I think genetics can be a hard thing to grasp especially if you haven't looked into it more than "people who look similar are related." Yeah my first redpill was race realism as I saw it as the underlying axiom for all disagreements in the 21st century. It forced me to look deep into genetics, anthropology and psychometrics. The very very ancient Jomon were pretty much Siberians, they were never white in the first place. Another thing the actual just straight up “whites are better at literally everything” crowd denies is the 105 iq of East Asians. Apparently they have cheated on all IQ tests here and abroad that we have conducted ourselves as well as all standardized tests that can be converted roughly into IQ through g factor in the past 100 years.
