It has become more of a religion with a priesthood than anything else. Largely, geneticists have confirmed it's most wrong. It's so wrong, Darwinism really has no place in science. It's effectively disproved. And so we are left with nothing or what variations or what pretty much every ancient civilization attempts to describe. Again, everyone wants to put them into conflict rather than accept they are largely complimentary. I don't fault you for staking your position. But the more you dig, the more you realize your position is not tenable. Yet the priesthood doesn't care.
