What range in miles do those lead acid bastards have?

This model is about the only one that makes the least sense to me, when it comes to "re-charging" electric cars. Make the battery packs removeable and replaceable, and have replacement packs ready and waiting at "filling stations" for any EV that pulls in. You won't own your car battery, you'll just be renting it for a brief while until the charge runs out.

It's the only way to beat the hour-long recharging times, and the hours-long waits at the recharging stations. Of course, the rational solution is not to use electric cars, but when have our governments ever done the rational thing?

The problem is dirt and debris. Especially in areas with snow season.

They have no way to “store” all this green energy supposedly. I see a new article every week with a new break through.

The best I’ve ever heard was to take “renewable energy” and make hydrogen for cars.

We have electric and hydrogen around her and the hydrogen bus are spilling water all over the road. Talk about climate change imagine 200,000 vehicles a day in a big city and suburbs dropping excess water, like that won’t change the climate and name it wet or rain more often that water has to go someplace.
