This is how the enlightenment dies. Absurdity heaped upon absurdity, which the uneducated population are incapable of examining critically. The average person will believe anything, because he *knows* nothing. Flat earth, round earth -- he can't tell which is more plausible. The world view of Americans is moving toward the world view of the Third World. This means a rise in superstition, a general distrust of history, and the transformation of scientists into priests of the coming Dark Age.
