Irving is the historian who spent decades tracking down diaries, survivors, and demanding release of official documents. He is the historian who found the Rommel diary and Goebbles’ diaries, the historian who gained entry into the Soviet archives, and so on. He is familiar with more actual facts about the second world war than the rest of the historians combined.

Were you aware that the claims of a lot of Nazi artifacts being destroyed post WW2 are false and the US government has troves and troves and troves of these things still existing? I read about that somewhere and how the (((US))) is worried about these things getting released somehow.

A good article. I've got mixed feelings about David Irving. On the one hand, he stood up to the Jews and wrote the truth, for which he was punished by having his entire career destroyed, and his reputation as an historian ruined. On the other hand, Irving is an ego-maniac who brought much of his suffering on himself by trying to be center stage in world events. His libel case against the Jew bitch Lipshit (or whatever her Jewy name is) was unnecessary, and gave his enemies a chance to destroy him. Irving wrongly believed that since he had the facts on his side, he would prevail in a court of law. Unfortunately, our law courts no longer work that way. It was a show trial to destroy Irving.

Irving will probably go down in history as a misunderstood and very important historian. But it may be fifty or a hundred years before his true status is recognized.

WW2 the foundational llie

Wouldn't it be WW1? WW2 started due to Germany being invaded, and split up into 3 parts where the middle section was given to - I forget Czechoslovakia??? - someone else and then the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand had some big responses attached to it. Did it not?

I'm very rusty on these things but I'm 100% confident that the big lie starts with WW1.
