What should really blow our minds is that the only reason we know these people even existed at all is because of the great, and frankly awe inspiring architecture they left behind. Their knowledge is largely lost or is mingled with myth and legends. All that remains in any tangible sense is the structures they created that have withstood the ravages of time. What will remain of us? Future humans will basically see a huge empty gap in the timeline that we inhabited. Outside of Mt Rushmore, nothing we have created will remain. This will be known as a great ‘dark ages’... And thank God, I would hate to have to try and explain transfaggotry and furries to future archaeologists.
