I have heard low dose naltrexone can make a huge difference in autistic kids, too. Again, off patent and reasonably cheap. I pay $100 or so per quarter for a daily dose.

That's otc now. They give it pain patients.

I'm not able to get it OTC and my doc, although he would order it for me, would have to go through a compounding pharmacy, so my insurance won't cover it. I just get it through a semi-shady online doc/pharmacy.
