You want to get K2 that has mk4 and mk7 in it together or separately. Those are two of the main forms of K2 that are commercially available.
Isn't there a risk of blood clots from K2?
Not that I’m aware of as long you’re healthy. Vitamin K can thicken blood but is broken down into variants of K2 if it’s processed in your body correctly.
My 83yo mom has been taking it for 10+ years along with my 92yo uncle and a bunch of us in our 40’s and 50’s.
Without K2 the vitamin D will deposit the calcium anywhere in your body, brain, arteries etc. K2 is like a conductor and moves it to your bones. Studies show that it can also remove “plaque”(calcium deposits) in arties by 30%.
K2 is needed to move the calcium that the D3 is allowing your body to grab out of your blood and into your bones and other places where you need it. If you take calcium you need to take D3 to make it available to sue, then the K2 helps move it where it belongs. Otherwise, you aren't doing any good.
