I have a healthy respect for venomous snakes. 4 species of venomous snakes in the US and all live in Harris County, TX.

I only really have to worry about rattle snakes in the general area. A few people/dogs get bit every year but there has not been a death in I think 20 years-ish?

The ones that die from snakebites just weren't true believers.

hah, that happens with some preacher or "faith healer" at least once a year it seems.
