Except that recent research shows not all tangles lead to Alzheimer’s and not everyone with dementia has the tangles. Stupid Leslie Stahl did a segment on this on 60 minutes. Now the theory is that some people are immune to the tangles and they don’t know why people without the tangles get dementia. But they still need more research, of course, to find a cure. $$$
