That stuff upsets my stomach like crazy and it's so hard to avoid. Getting heavy cream without it added is nearly impossible. I end up using half and half a lot because I can still get that unadulterated. I miss east access to clean heavy cream, though. Even the organic brands use carrageenan because it's derived from some kind of seaweed so they pretend it's fine.
