Hospitals bill the government when illegals get treatment. They always get paid.

But an American who needs treatment, needs to pay upfront, if the patient dies halfway through the treatment, hospitals don't see all of the money.

I see nothing wrong with upfront payment. If you're going to pay your bill, you already have the cash. If you're going to rip the hospital off...then you'll whine to dailymail instead.

Yeah, I am not so sure I am really against asking for up-front but I would qualify that to anything that is not "life saving". So, cancer treatments or for a gunshot wound in the ER or something.. That is life saving.

For what the criminal illegal aliens are getting, that is not lifesaving and they should have to pay up front.

Your misplaced sympathy for "life threatening" is were EMTALA came from, and makes hospitals more expensive. Deadbeats, bums, illegals, etc force the hospital to provide "life-saving" care and then skip out on the bill.

I can't afford hospital bills because the government steals half or more of my paycheck, government then subsidizes hospitals and bullshit treatment, government then let's millions of sickly freeloaders in overwhelming services, government then pays those bills incentivizing hospitals to care for freeloaders, government forces insurance to play the game of outrageous bills.... On and on and on and on the merry go round goes. Fuck this ride. I want off.

I talked to this guy that worked in the same office building. He works for a collection agency specializing in cancer. I said that is possibly one of the most depressing things I have ever heard. He basically agreed.

Here is what I've learned. If someone in your family has cancer, pay the medical bills last! You have $50 left over this month? They can have it, but no more. You do not owe them priority treatment for their infinity dollars balance. They will still treat you. Also try to arrange a workout for any other debt. When you finally get to bankruptcy, BK judges get super irritated with creditors that will not accept half a loaf when you are already broke.
